My Reply:
Hello Serge-
Thanks for writing! I have not worked with
the TrendWave long enough to develop an exit
strategy as of yet. The TrendWave is a
brand new indicator which was more less
discovered and thus subsequently developed while
converting the SuperADX system to Metatrader.
It was the last component, the most stubborn and
time consuming part of the SuperADX to convert.
This part alone took almost six weeks. In
fact, we had to extract this component and run
it outside the SuperADX shell. This was
the only way to authenticate the signals matched
among the Tradestation and Metatrader versions.
Well, in doing so, we noticed the TrendWave was
an outstanding indicator in itself. It
generates many additional signals which the
SuperADX would could never plot due to it
requiring confluence among several internal
conditions to trigger. You will soon
realize it's an invaluable indicator which
definitely needed to run on its own.
Question Two:
Hello Steve-
Will the TrendWave replace the SuperADX?
If not, do you recommend having both systems?
Is there any duplication of signals?
My Reply:
I recommend running both
systems. The SuperADX has always been and
will always be my primary system which I use to
trade equities, futures and forex. The
SuperADX provides various degrees of signals
from medium confidence to high confidence
trades. The TrendWave was one of the
algorithms inside the SuperADX which provided
confluence along with other conditions to
trigger those various signals. The
SuperADX plots a yellow tip on it's bars... only
if a SuperADX plotted a bar. In other
words, if the SuperADX does not paint, then the
TrendWave signal gets ignored.
